Description
Intense ruby red, scents of red-fleshed fruits of blackcurrants, plum and cherry; balsamics of mint and eucalyptus, sweet spices as cloves and cinnamon and notes of bitter cocoa, and coffee to the nose. Pleasant to taste, with warm softness, rich structure and noble tannins. Long and persistent. Ideal with roasts, braised, seasoned cheeses. Ageing four months in stainless tubs, 18 months in barriques, four months in the bottle Serve at a temperature of 18 °
Curiosity
ARCIATO is a fantasy name, as all the wines of the vintage line it is linked to the Middle Ages, recalls the Arch. The first vintage produced was the 1998 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cantina Cardeto, with the intention to create a "Super Umbrian" form cabernet sauvignon grapes.
