Description
After crushing, the cryomaceration is carried out to ensure that the primary aromas of grapes present in the inner part of the skin can be extracted to give to the wine more intense and fruity scents. Then there is the fermentation of 30% in new tonneau on its yeasts for 6 months, while 70% is fermented in steel at 16° Intense and bright color with beautiful green gold reflections. The nose is wide with floral notes of jasmine and hawthorn, memories of fruit, with a delicate but elegant touch of vanilla. In the mouth there is a perfect taste - olfactory correspondence and the wine show elegance and personality, with perfect texture and sapidity, right acidity and long finish. The Febei was one of the most important and powerful family in the Middle age in Orvieto, that was related with marriages to Clementini, Piccolomini and Coelli.The most famous of which was the Bishop Francesco Maria Febei, important because he wrote dissertations about the guibileo and because opened the library of his beatiful palace, to the people . You can still read the inscription on the lintel of the building “PUBLIC LIBRARY”. Nowadays in Orvieto there is this beatiful Febei Palace and also a square dedicated to this family.
